History
In the past
years, the water supply networks were not in
the form that we have today. Distribution of
water to the houses were carried-out by
certain people with limited sources. These
people were responsible for the quality and
quantity of water delivere and who enjoyed
the confidence of all citizens. In fact, the
daily lives of the citizens highly depended
on the activities of these people for
supplying hygienic water to their houses.
They were called MIRAB,
which means water distributors in Persian
language.
MIRAB
company started its activity in Tehran in 1978, under the name of
Forminkar. The initial activity of this company was in the field
of modellaing and later on Casting.
The demand for
expansion of water supply networks together
with the need for development in other
fields required the extensive efforts of
capable Iranian industrialists, therefore,
Forminkar (MIRAB)
company took action in this area, by
adopting the name
MIRAB for this company, Engineer
Morteza Tavajoh, the founder and main
shareholder of this company showed his
strong will and interests for serving this
industry. Upon establishing relations with
the foreign reputable valve manufacturing
companies and acquiring their expertize and
technologies, he started production of the
first Butterfly Valves.
After
producing this type of high quality valves and receiving many
orders, MIRAB Company expanded its
activities in this field to the extent that it currently produces
more than 15 types of valves and their related equipments with
different functions, which are referred to in the products
section. The company is presently producing valves for the most
important: water supply, power plant, refinery and water treatment
projects in the country.
With 21
years of experience in the valve Industry,
and after receiving various accredited
International Certificates, such as : Lloyds
Register and IMS ( ISO 9001-2000 , ISO
14001-2004 , OHSAS 18001-1999 ) from RWTÜV
and KTW von DVGW which gained increasing
trusts of the customers for the company. It
is now exporting a major portion of its
products to foreign countries in: Asia,
Europe and Africa. The quantities of which
are increasing every year.
The policies of
MIRAB Company, the quality and cost of its products are
determined in accordance with the WTO regulations and we firmly
believe that under the said regulations, we are expanding our
markets both within the country and Abroad.
Increased exports and the necessity of rendering fast services to
all the foreign customers of MIRAB
company required the physical presence of the company in the
foreign markets, hence,for this purpose, it established a sister
company in Germany under the name of AB Valves GmbH with a program
for production and assembly of valves. With its considerable stock
of products, the company is quite prepared to deliver the orders
of its customers in the shortest passible time.
AB Valves GmbH
has obtained all the standards required by
its European customers and in case of need,
it will gain more Standards.
MIRAB Company is currently operating
in two plants with a total area of 25000 square meters, equipped
with automatic casting unit, 3 electrical furnaces with medium
frequency which are made by ABB Company, machining unit with more
than 20 CNC and 30 special Universal machines, fully Equipped
powder painting unit assembly and test units, with about 300
experienced personnel(of which 10% Engineers) are employed in all
most of the, and is ready to meet needs of its customers. In
addition to manufacturing its products, this company is able to
expand its activities to meet the new demands of the customers.
Based
on its slogan of " Superior quality,
more healthier environments,
perfect hygiene and Safety ", as well
as, its prophesy derived from its name, this serves its customers
and considers satisfaction of its customers as its main aim.
